[look. a lot has happened today. there was yelling, lemon squeezing, tentacle dicking, corpse burning, and arm wrestling (hypothetically for some, literally for others). let chie live for the rest of the night.

something tells her she's not going to get to rest that easily, though, even at this late—but pre-curfew—hour. who's that coming to find her staring at the ceiling in the lounge tonight?]

Yeah, they are.

[mentally she's now trying to decide how much more she's willing to share with him.]

[ninjay]

So you weren't just a bystander regarding the murders in your town, then?

[wristbands]

I mean, I never said I was last time you came to talk to me.

[totally not stalling for time as she continues to think, nope]

[ninjay]

That's true. It was heavily implied though.

[ he's just... smiling at her, like he knows what she's doing. (he does) ]

[wristbands]

Well, there's your confirmation.

[and she's stubborn.]

Are you going to explain further, or do I have to live the rest of my life in suspense?

[wristbands]

[she opens her mouth to do just that, but hesitates. then,]

It's kind of unfair that I'm spilling my whole life story to you, don't you think? What do I get from you?

[naoto would be so proud of her]

[ninjay]

It's not my fault you're not asking me any questions. I did answer the one you asked me before, remember?

[ i mean. he's not wrong. ]

[wristbands]

Can I get an IOU?

[ninjay]

You should probably use it quickly. For all you know, I might be dead this time next week.

[wristbands]

[she makes a sound of disgust... 'cause, like, he's not wrong. she does her best to put on a kind of confident face, in this case.]

F-fine then. How'd you become a spy? What do you do with your "collected information"?

[ninjay]

People who want information come and find me and I'll give it to them. [ he shrugs. ] I just like knowing what's going on where I live, Chie. The idea that something might be happening under my nose is not one that I am fond of.

[wristbands]

[she gets that it's his job to keep secrets better than she can but she's still annoyed at the lack of forthright answers... that's more on her, though, so she can't really hold it against him much.]

That's fair, I guess... hmph. [beat] What else have you found out about Yuggoth, then?

[ninjay]

[ give him a moment... to think... ]

Is there anything specific you'd want to know?

[ he's not even being cheeky here, he's curious as to what kind of information she's mostly after here. ]

[wristbands]

[as much as she wants to be a really nosy ho, she will wait...]

Anything about Craftly? Or why we were the ones chosen to... play this stupid game?

[ninjay]

I asked him about that very early on. He more or less told me that there was no special reason why we were chosen. Craftly himself isn't really the villain here. He's just another pawn of the game, much like we are.

[wristbands]

So you probably don't have any of that info. Like, who his bosses might be or anything like that.

[ninjay]

All I know is that they're gods. So, feel free to yell at them.

[wristbands]

[she balks a little at that]

I could fight against that god. Not so much these ones.

[ninjay]

That's a shame. I do think that... Mother person, might be the god in question. But we have no information on that.

[ or at least, he doesn't. ]

The one that was mentioned where Omega was found, right?

[ninjay]

Right. As far as I know, there hasn't been any direct references to whoever that is since then.
