( week 4 ) wednesday morning, nagasone

[suffice to say, chie had a Rough Day yesterday. she's currently in the lounge, bent over one of the coffee tables. it's early enough that most of the motel's residents are probably still asleep; she's just always been an early riser.

it looks like she's trying to wrap bandages around her right hand, but given that it's her dominant hand, she's having a little bit of trouble. it doesn't help that in addition to her actual physical impediments, she's picturing shadowy tendrils snaking around from her back. she's trying really hard to ignore that right now, in favor of her first aid attempt... which is pretty clearly failing.]

Shit, c-come on...

[ Good news is that Nagasone is also an early riser, and he's more or less okay, save for the milder issues from the Night Terrors. As of right now though, he can hear Chie and realize she's struggling with something. ]

Chie? Is something... Oh.

[ Upon a closer look, he sees what she's bent over. There's the quietest of "Not you too..." before he reaches for some clean gauze on the table. It's better to start fresh. ]

Hand injuries like that aren't easy to wrap on your own... Need some help with that?

[she's shocked when she hears the voice, but calms down relatively enough when nagasone seems to bear no ill will toward her. plus, it's not friday—murders only count on friday, right? with a wince, she lets her failed bandaging fall to the table, holding her hand out toward him. he'll notice a pretty severe stab wound going into the back of her hand and out through her palm.]

Th-that'd be nice, yeah. I'm more used to bandaging up my legs, not my hands...

[ This is a little embarrassing for him, but he does have to bend over the table like Chie was to inspect it. It's... Definitely not a pretty sight. Still, he barely flinches, dressing it neatly. ]

Sorry, my eyes are going bad this week, but that should do it. If you need a clean bandage for it, come find me.

[ He smiles reassuringly. ]

Speaking of, checking your legs might be a good idea while the supplies are here.

They're nowhere near as bad as this, I can tell you that. [she points her eyes at her hand.] Surprisingly, the request thing didn't backfire and I got a perfectly normal pair of shin guards.
